Confirmation Program
Greetings!
Thank you for accessing our web page. We hope it will provide answers to any questions you may have regarding the Confirmation Program at St. Joseph's Church. We confirm in the 8th grade at St. Joseph's, but do not exclude older students who may not have had an opportunity to participate in the program. Classes take place on Wednesday evenings from September to April, concluding with the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Confirmation is an opportunity for the youth of our Church to reaffirm the baptismal promises made by their parents. It is the continuation of the initiation process that began when they were baptized. The objective of the Confirmation Program is to help them prepare themselves to make an informed decision. The decision to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church. It is our hope that the program will help guide these young adults toward a meaningful relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that if they love the Lord, they will come to love the Church and will become active members of the parish and our community.
We want to thank you parents for having the desire to pass your Catholic Faith along to your children. We are committed to helping you with this most important task. We pray the Lord will fill your child with His Holy Spirit and guide them throughout their lives.
