Illness

Upon entering the center each day the children will be assessed for signs of illness; particularly communicable diseases.  If symptoms of illness are observed, and we feel they will not be able to function at the center the parents will be asked to make other outside arrangements for their children. We do follow the regulations for illness exclusions.

When children are not able to come to the daycare on a normal scheduled day due to an illness (or whatever reason) a phone call must be made to the center by 8:30 AM in the morning. If your children are signed up for a special sign up day and they are sick you must give a 12 hour notice instead of just calling by 8:30 AM. If you do not call 12 hours in advance on a special sign up day you will still be charged. If a phone call is not made by the appropriate time a no show will be billed for that day.
