Primary Caregiving

The infant room runs on the schedule of the babies, not the daycare's schedule. All the babies have different routines and eat at different times.  Because of this each caregiver is assigned four babies. They are the primary caregiver that cares for a specific four babies. This is a very effective way for a baby and the caregiver to form a special bond. It also gives the parent one specific person to communicate with and inform of changes or concerns in their baby's schedule. This also helps the caregiver because they only have to keep track of four schedules instead of twelve. If your baby's primary caregiver is not at work or is busy another caregiver will fill in and definitely help out. As we all know babies don't always pick a convenient time to be fussy, hungry, or need to be changed, so the caregivers will work together to give the babies the attention they need promptly.
