St. Joseph School recognizes that each child is a unique individual created by God.  Here at St. Joseph Preschool our goals are based on the whole child – spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual.

St Joseph Preschool recognizes that preschoolers learn best by taking an active part in their environment.  The daily activities planned in any area are planned with the children's developmental level in mind.  The activities allow the children to express themselves and to foster self-confidence.

We believe that the process of learning in early childhood is more important than the content of learning.  Because we focus on the process rather than the end product, the activities are designed to emphasize the experiences children are having rather than the results from activities.  Helping children learn how to learn and feel good about them is what our program is all about.
