***Weekly Liturgies

As a school, we attend Mass every Thursday at 9:00 a.m.  Several times throughout the year our class has the opportunity to help prepare and take part in the Mass in a special way.  Students lead music, do the Scripture readings, and carry the gifts during the Mass.

***Sunday Liturgies

Two or three times during the school year, a Sunday Childrens’ Liturgy is planned and all students have an opportunity to participate in that Mass.

***Explaining God’s Word

Explaining God’s Word is a pamphlet used each Friday in the classroom to help introduce and explain the Gospel reading for the coming Sunday.  It includes activities and a “Family Page” which can be used at home.

See the Third Grade Web Page for pictures and activities!
