Education: I am a St. Joseph Graduate, class of 1982. I attended Moorhead State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Teaching⁄Work Experience: I began teaching in the fall of 1992 in New Salem. I taught a sixth grade class. It was a one year position due to an increase in the 6th grade enrollment. I then taught a combination class of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in Driscoll for two years. That brought me to St. Joe's where I began teaching 5th grade. After four years I moved into the Kindergarten when our daughter was born. I have been in Kindergarten ever since!
Family: My husband's name is Dale and we have 2 children Leslie and Gavin. They both currently attend St. Joseph school.
Interests: I love to scrapbook! I also play volleyball, read, sing, try to exercise, and I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Favorite Web Sites: Most sites are used for school projects
Why you like teaching in a Catholic School: I really appreciate the family atmosphere of the entire school and the closeness the teachers share. I like the ability to teach the Catholic faith and learn as well. We have terrific parental support and interest in their children. We also have very strong morals and values that make teaching an enjoyable thing to do. It's fun and very busy!
