
Hometown: I was born in Brittian, ND. a small place 8 miles west of Moffit, ND. My father worked for the Soo Line RR and my mother was postmistress there. Consequently we moved a few times and ended up in Fullerton, ND .
Education: Country grade school(8 grades in two rooms) High School, 2 yrs. taking business courses at State Normal and Industrial school in Ellendale, ND.
Teaching⁄Work Experience: 2 years in the Blue-print dept. of Boeings Aircraft in Seattle (1942-'43), 30 years raising cattle in rural Oakes, ND. We moved to Yellowstone Mt. in 1972, where we worked for the park, I was room inspectress for 3 years at the Old Faithful Inn, the years took us to Dodge City KS, where I owned my own business and later sold and moved back to Yellowstone where I lived prior to coming home to ND.
Position: For the past 8 years I have been a volunteer with the Foster Grandparents of America organization at St. Joseph.
Family: I am the oldest of 6 girls, all of which are still living and for that I am thankful. I had four children, Dennis, Bruce, Jill and Jody. We lost Dennie to cancer when he was 35, Bruce is a Plumbing Contractor in AZ. Jill is currently back in ND moving here from Fl. and Jody is office Mngr. for Cloverdale Foods. I have four grandsons, a grand daughter and 4 great grandsons. My children were spaced so far apart that I had someone in school non-stop for 30 yrs. I saw phonics come and go and all the changes in the math system etc.
Interests: kids of all ages, music, sewing, reading, singing and playing Eucher on line.
Why you like working in a Catholic School: I am so blessed to be able to listen, observe, and work with the students in this School. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Respect is the #1 thing that is taught here and it is so evident when you meet students that come from this school. The many hugs I get everyday are pretty nice too.

Hometown: I was born and raised on a dairy farm near Oberon, ND.
Education: I graduated from Minnewaukan High School and I went to college at NDSU-Bottineau.
Teaching⁄Work Experience: I started working in the hospital in Rolla, ND in the emergency room. I really learned a lot and loved working in that area of the hospital. Then I became an Insurance agent for 15 years.

Family: I have one daughter, McKenzie, and after living on a farm all my life, I now enjoy living in Mandan.
Interests: I enjoy spending time with my daughter, working with and riding horses, gardening, canning, and reading.
Why you like working in a Catholic School: I really like being here at St. Joseph School. Everyone is great to work with and working with the children is such a joy, watching them grow and learn in the Catholic spirit.

Work Experience: I've worked for St. Joes for about 22 years
Family: Husband Jim, married 33 years. Three children, Daughter Aimee,she is currently working towards her masters degree, married to Jason Boit, they live in Germany. Daughter Tina is a Pharmacy tech at Heritage Pharmacy married to Kurt Regstad. Steve is currently attending NDSU as a freshman. Can’t forget the family pet, Toby, our Miniature Pincher.
Interests: Reading, cooking, collecting Beanie bears, listening to country and old time music, I play Volley Ball, even at my age, and I love camping with family, friends, and Toby!

Family: My wife Jean and I have 3 children. Kyle is a sophmore at MHS, Matt is an 8th grader at MJH, and Danielle is a 4th grader at Custer.
Interests: Our lake cabin, boating, and still an occasional water skiing attempt but enjoy the pontoon more and more as the years go by, most sports and my hobby of candle making.

Why you like working in a Catholic School: After working for a large corporation it's so nice to be appreciated for your work. It's like a family here at St. Joes' and I like interacting with the kids.
