At the Church of St. Joseph, it is one of our great joys to assist in the spiritual growth of the young adults in our Confirmation Program. We take the duty of helping to educate the future of our Church seriously and strive to instill within each student the fire of faith and a new love for Jesus Christ and His Church. At our parish, we typically Confirm in the 8^th grade, although this great Sacrament is open to others who are older who may not have had the opportunity to participate in our Confirmation Program in the 8^th grade. Our Confirmation Program classes are held Wednesday evenings from September to April, concluding with our students receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Confirmation is an opportunity for the young adults of our Church to reaffirm the baptismal promises first made by their parents. It is in continuation of the initiation process that began when they were baptized. The objective of the Confirmation Program is to help them prepare themselves in making an informed decision to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church with a new love and excitement for our great faith. It is our hope that our Program will help guide these young adults toward a meaningful relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that if they love the Lord, they will come to love the Church He founded, and will become active members of the parish and faith community.

We pray that the Lord will fill your child with His Holy Spirit and guide them throughout their lives (Colossians 1:9-12).
